White mica paper is made from high quality white mica, which is thermochemically or hydraulically cleaved into pulp for papermaking and then cut into continuous rolls or sheets. The mechanism of composition of mica paper is generally considered to be caused by the gravitational effect between the parallel surfaces of very thin mica scales, i.e. the main effect is the combination of Van's gravitational force.
Share two production considerations for white mica paper
During the papermaking process, there are two main factors that affect the bonding force between the scales. One is the value of scale diameter to thickness (commonly known as diameter - thickness north), the larger the ratio, the stronger the bonding force.
Secondly, the scale appearance should adhere to clean and neat, otherwise some impurity ions adsorbed on the mica scale appearance will decrease its appearance chemical activity and decrease the attraction between the scales. The size of the attraction between the mica scales directly affects the tightness of the mica sheet bonding and therefore directly affects the quality and yield of the mica paper.
The purpose of this work is to try to add some chemical reagents to increase the strength of mica paper and improve the paper formation rate.
The kinetic potential on the appearance of mica particles, the slurry used to make mica paper is a mica slurry in which the mica particles are lax in water, a system known in physical chemistry as a coarse lax system.
Most of the lax materials should be charged at the interface between the two carriers when they are in contact with polar solvents or polar media. This charging can be divided into the following categories.
1, ionization: lax body in the lax medium, the lax body's exterior molecules are ionized and an ion is sent to the liquid.
2, ion adsorption: the appearance of the lax body can adsorb certain ions in solution, so that the appearance of charged.
3, ion dissolution: the lax body composed of ionic crystal material in the medium occurs unevenly dissolved, so that the interface charged.
4, ion substitution: This is a special charging mechanism.
