What are the materials used to make soft mica sheets

Soft mica board is a kind of board insulation made by baking adhesive on one or both sides of the reinforcement and then bonding laminated mica with adhesive or laminating mica material with adhesive. It is suitable for slot insulation and motor inter-turn insulation. It is a roll insulation material made of gold mica or white mica paper as the base material, alkali-free glass fiber cloth as the reinforcing material, and high-temperature silicone resin as the bonding material. The mica paper roll of the present invention is dry and non-adhesive, with excellent flexibility and softness. Compared with mica tape, the single layer has stronger voltage breakdown resistance due to its increased thickness.

Soft mica sheets are made of mica paper and silicone adhesive. The mica content is about 90% and the silicone content is about 10%. White mica and gold mica have excellent insulation, high temperature resistance, gloss, stable physical and chemical functions (acid resistance, alkali resistance, pressure resistance), excellent heat insulation, elasticity and weather resistance, and the function of peeling elastic lucent sheets. Therefore, it is widely used to make insulation materials in the electrical and electronics industry.
